How is your treatment different than my primary care doctors/endocrinologists?

The conventional treatment for Low Thyroid includes oral medications /hormones.  We do not use medications.  Our goal is to find the causes of your Thyroid condition and get your body healthier so that you can work with your prescribing physician to reduce or eliminate your medications.

Why do I still have Thyroid symptoms when all of my lab tests are normal?

Many Thyroid patients have been put on oral medications to improve their symptoms (hair loss, constipation, inability to lose weight despite a strict diet, fatigue, depression…). This is the conventional approach which can normalize lab tests.  What can be missed is the underlying cause of the Thyroid symptoms and Thyroid imbalance.  This is why the lab tests can be normal yet the symptoms persist.

How can chiropractic improve my thyroid function?

Through the use of our Functional Medicine treatment model, we have developed an effective program to improve thyroid function.  The functional medicine treatment model is separate and distinct from the chiropractic treatment model in our office.
