Dr. Tom Chaney is a native of Maryland. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a major in Kinesiology.
Dr. Chaney attended the New York Chiropractic College where he received awards for clinical excellence and was on the Dean’s List. In 2001, he received his doctorate of Chiropractic.
Dr. Chaney returned home and founded Living Health Chiropractic and Functional Medicine. He is committed to helping patients achieve optimal health naturally.
He is a certified practitioner and a Distinguished Fellow of Chiropractic Biophysics. He was named a Distinguished Fellow of the International Chiropractic Association. Dr. Chaney also dedicates himself to remaining current with the most exciting developments in the field.
Dr. Chaney has become a respected member of the profession with a statewide reputation for dedication to his community. He received the Maryland Chiropractic Association’s President’s Award in 2008 and serves on the Association board of directors.
In his spare time, Dr. Chaney enjoys being outdoors and active. He spends time hiking, traveling, fishing and biking.
Dr. Stephanie Chaney graduated from the University of Ottawa with a B.S. in Kinesiology. She attended the New York Chiropractic College and received her doctor of chiropractic degree with honors.
Dr. Chaney has been practicing chiropractic in Maryland since 2001. She joined Living Health Chiropractic and Functional Medicine in 2003 and is the senior clinic director of the functional medicine practice.
Dr. Chaney became a distinguished Fellow of the International Chiropractic Association and is a practitioner of Chiropractic Biophysics and was awarded in 2007 with Chiropractor of the Year. The Governor appointed Dr. Steph to the Maryland Chiropractic Board of Examiners in 2007.
Currently, Dr. Steph focuses her treatment time practicing Functional Medicine, helping patients with various health challenges reverse their conditions with nutritional and supplement therapy.
Dr. Stephanie has been featured as a guest natural health expert on Fox 5. She is a dynamic health advocate who speaks to organizations and community groups about holistic wellness.
Dr. Adam Maddox was born in Maryland and raised on the east coast. He attended Wittenberg University where he experienced the benefits of Chiropractic care after an athletic injury. He received his BA in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
Dr. Maddox attended Logan College of Chiropractic, in St. Louis Missouri. There he distinguished himself by being named to the Dean’s List as well as earning the position of Head Senior Intern, due to his excellent clinical proficiency.
Dr. Maddox joined Living Health Chiropractic in 2006 and is a certified Chiropractic Biophysics practioner. As well as keeping up with the latest research, Dr. Maddox is an accomplished researcher whose work has been published in the peer reviewed, Journal of Chiropractic Medicine.
He is also a member of the Maryland Chiropractic Association. Dr. Maddox is also continuing his post graduate education focusing on Functional Medicine.
Dr. Trevor N. Sykes is a graduate of The University of Connecticut where he received his BA in Sociology. He was a member of the track team and received the Outstanding Senior Student Athlete Award.
Dr. Sykes attended Life University in Marietta, Georgia where he took an interest in biophysics and earned his doctorate in Chiropractic in 2006. In recognition of his dedication to patient care, he was selected to participate in an outreach internship where he worked in the field of drug and alcohol recovery in downtown Atlanta.
Dr. Sykes began his chiropractic work in Massachusetts and joined the Living Health Chiropractic and Functional Medicine team in February 2008. He is currently pursuing his certification in Chiropractic Biophysics and is a member of the Maryland Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Renee Sacharny was born in New York City and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Sacharny’s own childhood struggles with chronic infections and obesity inspired her passion for understanding the human body and helping people achieve optimal health.
Dr. Sacharny attended the State University of New York at Binghamton where she received a B.S. in biology. Then she studied at the New York Chiropractic College, in Seneca Falls New York where she earned her doctorate with honors.
Since 2001 Dr. Sacharny has worked in private and group practice domestically and internationally. She regularly attends chiropractic seminars and clinical forums to learn and implement the latest and most effective techniques to treat her patients. Dr. Sacharny maintains a particular interest in nutrition and its effect on healing and well-being.
